RELPAX is generally well tolerated by most people. However, some people should not

Do not take RELPAX if you have any of the following:
- High blood pressure
- Heart disease or a history of heart disease
- A rare type of migraine, such as hemiplegic or basilar migraine
- A stroke, or problems with your blood circulation
- Liver problems
- Allergies to RELPAX or any of its ingredients

What to tell your doctor before you take RELPAX:
- If you are taking or plan to take any other medications, including
prescription and nonprescription medications, supplements, and herbal remedies.
Your doctor will decide if you can take RELPAX with your other medications
- If you know that you have any of the following risk factors for
heart disease: high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, smoking, obesity, and menopause. Or a
family history of heart disease or stroke
- If you are pregnant or might be pregnant. Or if you plan to become
pregnant. If you plan to breastfeed or are already breastfeeding
