RELPAX is safe and effective when taken the right way. One of the most important
things to know is which medications you should not take with RELPAX.
Do not take RELPAX if you have taken any of these medications*:
In the past 24 hours (1 day):
- Amerge® (naratriptan)
- Axert® (almotriptan)
- Frova® (frovatriptan)
- Imitrex® (sumatriptan)
- Maxalt® (rizatriptan)
- Treximet™ (sumatriptan and naproxen sodium)
- Zomig® (zolmitriptan)
- Drugs that contain ergotamine, such as Bellergal-S®,
Cafergot®, Ergomar®, Wigraine®, dihydroergotamine
(D.H.E. 45®, Migranal®), or Sansert®
(methysergide)
In the past 72 hours (3 days):
- Biaxin® (clarithromycin)
- Sporanox® (itraconazole)
- Nizoral® (ketoconazole)
- TAO® (troleandomycin)
- Norvir® (ritonavir)
- Viracept® (nelfinavir)
- Serzone® (nefazodone)
